DMS acknowledges the Wotjobaluk, Jaadwa, Jadawadjali, Wergaia, and Jupagulk peoples as the Traditional Owners of the land on which the Donald Project sits. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging, and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters, and culture. We will work respectfully with the Barengi Gadjin Land Council, which represents the five peoples, to ensure this project delivers meaningful benefits to Traditional Owners, the broader community, and the region as a whole.‍
